Yes God use what we went through or will go through. We may not know when or where or how, but He will use the stuff for His glory. Or He can use a friend whose loved ones have gone through the same thing we went through.

I am in charge of the community garden at Christ Lutheran Church in Norfolk, VA each year. I really enjoyed the article “The Best Crop to Cultivate In Your Heart” (MAY 13, 2018) and would like permission to include it in our church’s monthly newsletter. How could i go about getting permission to include this in our newsletter? Thank you so much for your help.

Jim, our pastor at Arcadia Community Church in Southern California shared your 7 points of prayer with us tonight at our Zoom prayer meeting and I noted your website at the bottom. I was wondering if you have that somewhere on your website and if you would mind if we used it and communicated it. It’s wonderful! We followed it. We had not thought about Submission or Listening per se at the end of every prayer although those attitudes are in our hearts.

    Thank you for your ministries!

Jim, Thank you for your article in today’s Christian Index in which you discussed intellectual incest. Recently an elderly lady in my church (First Baptist Church, Alpharetta) told a friend of mine that all Democrats were evil and going to hell. My friend gently reminded her that a political affiliation was not the basis for determining someone’s eternal future, but rather faith in Jesus. I have been horrified at the disunity of believers during the past four years, and appreciate very much your article articulating what I have been thinking. Every day I try to remember Jesus’ command to His followers to love one another as He has loved us and that every person is created in God’s image and Jesus died for them. I plan on listening to some of your sermons posted on your website. Thank you for speaking truth.

Thanks for reading and thanks for your kind words. If Jesus can bring together a Roman government sympathizer (Matthew) and a Zionist (Simon the Zealot), he can bring us together if we make Him the main thing instead of our politics.
